Japan Today app for iPhone and iPad

A really good app but pls remove the bar at the bottom. And when i scroll the bar at the top should hide

The app has been fixed. (Old post) This wasnt such a bad app until about a month or so ago. Sometimes the app would crash when new stories were added. Now it crashes all the time. You guys need to move swift on this. Dont know why it is crashing so much now. Please fix. I would give it 4 stars if the problem was taken care of properly. Have to give it a one star now. So to recap. When it works, you can catch some of the latest stories going on in Japan. But now it wont load. Have to go to web site to see.

The app doesnt even open. Japan times...living up to their name.

1. Page doesnt scroll up when doubletapping top 2. Scrolling is really lagging and slow 3. Cant login with facebook account, throws error. 4. Atm app cant be used shows a black page

This is totally broken. Major multifunction is that news can not be refreshed and I can not log in at all.

There are some major problems with this app: 1) The stories that the app loads are not a complete list of stories. I occasionally try the app to see if it is fixed. So today I opened it and got about 8 stories for today. Then the next story was for a month ago, the last time I opened the app. The app doesnt load anything in between. I then viewed the Japan Today website through a browser, and there were a number of new stories for today that the app just wont load. 2) Pull down to refresh does not load the new articles. Sometimes it loads a new article. Problem #1 still not solved. 3) There is no way to see a list of the most recent comments. This currently can only be done on the site. 4) Im signed in, but when I try to thumbs up a post, nothing happens. 5) The comment field is not a standard iOS text field. Its impossible to make a selection of text within the field, to copy. Trying to double click just expands and contracts the comment field. Very annoying. This app looks nice is still majorly lacking in some areas, to the point that its only usable if you dont care about missing half the content from the website. Too bad, as its visually an excellent app. Unfortunately theyve chosen form over functionality.

I downloaded it because the mobile site never works half the time due to too me redirects. App barely works either! Cant thumb up or down, cant comment no matter how many times I hit the send button. The stories are rarely updated properly. Please get your mobile site and app fixed!!

Used it for months. Now it crash every time I open the app. Useless. Uninstalled it.
