The app doesnt even open. Japan times...living up to their name.

A really good app but pls remove the bar at the bottom. And when i scroll the bar at the top should hide

Mostly works, need to fix it to remember where you were in the article list when you pop back from reading a news clip so you arent wasting time scrolling back down.

1. Page doesnt scroll up when doubletapping top 2. Scrolling is really lagging and slow 3. Cant login with facebook account, throws error. 4. Atm app cant be used shows a black page

still terminates abnormally very often. I recommend reviewers who have some problem with this app to delete and reinstall, then you will find it works well.

This is totally broken. Major multifunction is that news can not be refreshed and I can not log in at all.

There are some major problems with this app: 1) The stories that the app loads are not a complete list of stories. I occasionally try the app to see if it is fixed. So today I opened it and got about 8 stories for today. Then the next story was for a month ago, the last time I opened the app. The app doesnt load anything in between. I then viewed the Japan Today website through a browser, and there were a number of new stories for today that the app just wont load. 2) Pull down to refresh does not load the new articles. Sometimes it loads a new article. Problem #1 still not solved. 3) There is no way to see a list of the most recent comments. This currently can only be done on the site. 4) Im signed in, but when I try to thumbs up a post, nothing happens. 5) The comment field is not a standard iOS text field. Its impossible to make a selection of text within the field, to copy. Trying to double click just expands and contracts the comment field. Very annoying. This app looks nice is still majorly lacking in some areas, to the point that its only usable if you dont care about missing half the content from the website. Too bad, as its visually an excellent app. Unfortunately theyve chosen form over functionality.

I downloaded it because the mobile site never works half the time due to too me redirects. App barely works either! Cant thumb up or down, cant comment no matter how many times I hit the send button. The stories are rarely updated properly. Please get your mobile site and app fixed!!

The app has been fixed. (Old post) This wasnt such a bad app until about a month or so ago. Sometimes the app would crash when new stories were added. Now it crashes all the time. You guys need to move swift on this. Dont know why it is crashing so much now. Please fix. I would give it 4 stars if the problem was taken care of properly. Have to give it a one star now. So to recap. When it works, you can catch some of the latest stories going on in Japan. But now it wont load. Have to go to web site to see.

Used it for months. Now it crash every time I open the app. Useless. Uninstalled it.

This app doesnt opens many times though its a nice app for the japan news.please repair it

The app is beautifully designed and the layout is great. The problem Im having is I cant login using the app nor can I login using the Facebook option. UPDATE: I reset my password on the Japan Today website and now Im able to login to the app with no problems. However, the like/dislike buttons dont work and the app will not post comments.

Doesnt work. Ive been trying for a few months to get his app to work. Have deleted and reinstalled a few times. Still doesnt open. Needs to be fixed.

Can read ok but cant upload comments. Kills the social networking element of the app.

Ill stick to the mobile site. Runs very sluggishly and non-Japan news stories end up on top. I dont care about whats going on in China or America if its not related to Japan. Poorly written articles.

Nothing parsed. It used to work but no one is watching their site. Disgruntled employee, perhaps? Fix this or we will have to go back to the mobile web.

App used to work great, had no problems whatsoever. Now its saying I need Internet connection yet I have full bars on wifi. Please fix, really enjoyed reading my news here.
